Research and demonstration software

RuView is an open-source research project. Anything shown on this site — the embedded browser demo, the "how it works" explanation, and the capability descriptions — describes experimental sensing software, not a finished, certified product. Outputs such as presence detection, pose estimates, or breathing-rate trends are estimates and can be wrong, delayed, or missing entirely depending on hardware, distance, interference, and room layout.

Not medical advice or a medical device

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and RuView is not a diagnostic or monitoring device cleared by any regulatory body. Do not use it as the basis for a health, safety, or emergency-response decision. If you need to monitor a health condition, use equipment and guidance from a licensed healthcare provider.

Not a security or safety system

WiFi sensing can be a useful signal for occupancy or activity research, but it should not be relied on as a sole means of intrusion detection, fall detection, or any other safety-critical alerting. Treat any output as one input among several, verified by a human when it matters.

Third-party content

The live demo on this site is embedded directly from the RuView project's own GitHub Pages deployment, a third party we don't control. We aren't responsible for its uptime, behavior, or any change made to it outside this site. Links to GitHub and other external resources are provided for convenience and reviewed only occasionally.

No warranty

This site and the linked project are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Use of any information, code, or demo on this site is at your own risk.

Changes

This disclaimer may be updated as the site or the underlying project changes. Check back periodically if this matters to your use case.
